Location

First Rock Baptist Church

4630 Alabama Avenue SE, Washington DC, 20019

Parking

We only have street parking available, but rest assured, our Courtesy Patrol Ministry is out watching your cars so that you can worship with peace of mind.

What to Wear

Many of our congregants choose to dress up for Sunday service, but all dress types are welcome (within reason). In the summer months of July and August, we encourage everyone to dress casually.

Worship Style

Our Praise Team and various choirs sing modern, old school, and traditional gospel, along with hymns, and occasional CCM music.

Kids

Our Children’s Sunday school meets in the Joseph W. King Fellowship Hall, which is downstairs, directly below our sanctuary. Children are encouraged to be a part of our Sunday Worship services, just as adults are. Every 4th Sunday is Youth Sunday, so that service is geared toward our children and youth.

Teaching Style

Our Pastor and associate ministers teach and preach directly from the infallible Word of God. This is a Bible believing and preaching church.
